A typical day for the Quality team involves closely monitoring production and making sure everything is running according to plan. They address issues on the shop floor such as defects, missing information, or process concerns, and coordinate with suppliers to track progress on external work like anodizing. Communication is constant, with the team working alongside Production, Engineering, Sales, and Research and Development to resolve challenges quickly and keep orders moving.

Over the course of a week, they follow up on ongoing issues, track rework, review performance, and look for patterns that can be improved. The work is a balance of real time problem solving and long-term process improvement.

Preventing Issues Before They Reach Customers

To prevent issues from reaching customers, the team relies on structured processes, inspections at multiple stages, and strong communication. Parts and assemblies are checked throughout production to catch defects early and prevent them from moving forward. The team works closely with Production, Engineering, and suppliers to clarify requirements and address questions before they turn into problems.

Why Quality Matters

Quality plays a key role in maintaining the company's reputation and operational strength. By ensuring that products meet both customer and industry standards, the team directly impacts customer satisfaction. Their work helps reduce waste, prevent delays, and keep production running smoothly — supporting long term growth and strong customer relationships.

"Quality is not just about the final product, but about maintaining trust, avoiding delays, and ensuring excellence at every step."

Continuous improvement is a core focus for the Quality team. They collaborate with other departments to identify recurring challenges and develop better ways of working. After changes are made, they monitor results and continue refining improvements — helping reduce errors, save time, and maintain a consistently high standard of work.

Detail Oriented & Proactive

Team members need to spot small issues before they become larger problems and follow processes carefully — strong problem solving and adaptability are key.

Continuous Improvement

By participating in cross functional discussions, updating procedures, and sharing feedback, the team creates more efficient and reliable processes over time.

Cross-Department Bridge

Acting as a bridge between teams and external partners, Quality helps ensure every product delivered is reliable and consistent.
